Alves dos Santos was born in 1978 in Johannesburg (South Africa), and he grew up in Machico (Madeira), the land where the Portuguese explorers first set foot when they discovered the beautiful island.<\/p>\n

He is a writer that, both in is Poetry and is Fiction, is capable of erupting courageously into the human spirit and drag out its hidden truths, its doubts and its fears.<\/p>\n

On his written words, one can find the beauty of an exciting soul, a combination of pure air with volcanic scents that unexpectedly takes the reader into the characters\u2019 lives. The reader is led to find an intimate transparency and changing environments of sky and light.
